The Role:

As a Restoration Sales Estimator for us, you will be responsible for estimating mitigation and reconstruction work relating to fire, flood and other losses occurring to residential or commercial properties. You will work in close concert with the insurance company, the adjusters and the property owner to assure the project in bid accurately and competitively. You will build long-term relationships with adjusters and insurance companies to assure that job opportunities are referred to you for estimating.

This position will allow you to interact with both commercial and residential property owners and insurance adjusters. You will have the opportunity to work on projects ranging from a few thousand dollars up to 100Kr rebuilds! With this position, your earnings potential is only capped by your own drive and hard work!

What You Must Have:

To succeed in this role you must have a minimum of two years, hands-on experience estimating both residential, mitigation, and commercial construction projects. Xactimate estimating experience is required. You must have strong organizational skills and be team oriented. The ability to communicate with property owners, both residential and commercial is very important. Experience working with both time and material is also a must

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Ensure assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance follow specification and within schedules and budget

Responsible for controlling costs and maintaining profitability

Perform general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions

Notify Project Manager of material and equipment needs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

10-15 years’ experience in construction and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical lines

3-5 years’ experience in progressive management roles

Proficient with MS Office, Viewpoint & pVault preferred
